Montana Bullet Works

Post by Rimfire McNutjob »

MBW is supposed to be back in action in about a week. Apparently, it was taken up by someone in the family. I got the following email ...

Hello Everyone,
Montana Bullet Works has switched hands but is still in the family! We are currently moving and getting business operational again. We will be accepting orders again within a week. For inquiries please contact johnnyrichardson783@gmail.com
Our Website will be operational in the next few days.

I emailed the new owners and they said they'd send samples of their bullets for my to enter into BulletMatch. I'm pretty excited about that. The MBW bullets I've used in the past are excellent.

Their 270SAA is a great bullet and I don’t know that I could cast them as well as they did.

Would like to start loading for my 357's, sounds like these would be a good start when they're back in production.

I remember not too distant past when the original MBW was in Billings, my hometown. At just 5 miles away I could just walk in and order. He had a favorite bullet style for my 40/75/260 Bullard. I found him to be friendly but reserved and his wife a very nice lady. I also remember Peacocks in the yard. I'm looking forward to ordering again.

For those who don't cast their own this is great news! I cast my own, but have friends who loved MBW bullets.
