Good Link! I especially liked how he brought out that neither Al Gore or John Kerry are scientist and are incapable of even having a knowledgeable discussion on the scientific theories they claim as issues. He also did an excellent job of pointing out that if we have Global Warming, WHAT TEMP do you suggest be the temperature that we set as a target goal.

But once people pick their side they very seldom remain open to new information, and that seems to be particularly true for those who consider themselves liberals or progressives. (... I guess having said that I know quite a few people who used to be 'progressive liberals' and are now 'conservative libertarians', precisely because they DID look outside the bubble. Conservatives are forced to look outside the bubble constantly because of media bias but you very seldom see any of them find anything sensible enough on the liberal end of the spectrum to change their minds.)
