The church building in the village of Mieze was totally destroyed by a cyclone back in late 2024. The village was nearly wiped out. This is a video of what the church did after the destruction.

UPDATE: funds were being raised to build a new church ... SOMEONE DONATED THE ENTIRE $300,000.00 that was needed!

The group that was raising the money for the church has decided to continue fund raising and help rebuild the village since almost all of the homes were damaged or destroyed.

I know a lot of the Mozambicans in the video as I worked with them for 6 years and usually attended church there.

The people who recorded it posted the story and are raising funds to rebuild. You can read about it here if you are interested.
