10 mm revolver

Post by 4t5 »

Think’n of getting one , not a big fan of the Ruger gp100 disassembly method , but like smaller size compared to the Smith 610,
who’s got what and how do you like it ?
In other words , talk me out of it please .

Andy, do you have a 38-40 cylinder as well? With 10mm does it use moon clips?
I'd like one if it used moon clips, I've got 40 s&w coming out of my ears and since I hate chasing brass I'd don't shoot my 40 often.
Although if I had a Blackhawk with a 38-40 why would a guy shoot 10 or 40?!

I have medium sized hands (wear a medium glove) and the 610 is comfortable for me

I have a sp101 that it muy difficult to get the trigger latch plunger in enough to remove the trigger group , have to hit it with a rubber mallet.
I don’t need another problem child right now , but I do like the size and weight of the gp wonder if taking a few thousands of the plunger length might help , don’t know if the factory tunes them this way , but can’t see why not ?

Holy cow! Guns International has a half dozen Blackhawk's listed, lowest priced at $1299.00! I didn't expect them to be that highly priced.
