Customer service. Good and bad.

Post by piller »

Had to contact OLight about an out of production flashlight. It is now back to working perfectly. Great customer service. Can't say enough good about them.

The bad is from Kitchenaid. Have an old stand mixer bought new about 30 years ago. It finally wore a little, and needs adjusted. Turns out this motel has the adjustment screw in the bottom of the motor housing at an angle. It is simply a set screw. It broke when I tried to adjust it. Contacted Kitchenaid. $350.00 to look at it. More if it can be repaired. NOPE!!! I will just buy something else. It cost about $120.00 new. That was 30 years ago. Never again will I buy Kitchenaid.

I've got an Olight red dot on my Glock 43X MOS. After 600 rounds it's still holding up. It's my first pistol mounted optic so I didn't want to to all in just yet, but so far my older eyes really appreciate it. I'm hoping we've finally reached the point of having a durable and affordable pistol mounted optic, so good on Olight for keeping this within reach of everyone.

Sad to hear that about Kitchenaid. Their stuff ain't cheap. My wife's mixer is 30 years old and still going strong though.
