Thank you to Andy Larsson! I am sure this has been a pain to deal with. But I appreciate it.

Welcome Jim (and all)

My apologies it took me longer than anticipated to get this up and going. We have been working on some new sights and mounts. Skinner Sights is growing, we want this site to grow also.

We have a tremendous knowledge base here that is more reliable than social media. Its been a while since we have opened up the ability to join, once we get this stabilized I think we should open it back up.

I'm open to insights, thoughts, etc...

Thank you! It's been pretty frustrating lately. Can't imagine how much so for the management.

.
I was a founding member of Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws, and we ran into the same problem in the late 1990's. Another site called KeepAndBearArms, run by a guy named Angel Shamaya, consolidated several 'niche' groups like ours under their banner, as an attempt (which succeeded) to have a source for various sub-groups of gun owners (ours was the 'health care' portion - (there was a 'law enforcement' and 'educators' group, etc.) that pro-gun writers and activists could draw from to substantiate the pro-gun cause.

After awhile, the KABA website had issues too, and eventually was 'incorporated into' the Second Amendment Foundation website.

After that and less anti-gun stuff to fight, our Doctors for Sensible Gun Laws group dissipated, and I don't know about the others.

Anyway - we'd perhaps lose some autonomy, but the question would be - would some larger more stable pro-gun or pro-hunting site 'take us on board', and if so, would that be a helpful tradeoff...???

Deeply appreciate your efforts and commitment Andy. Sorry it has been such a challenge, especially at a time when Skinner is growing its product line.

Andy mentioned it was going to take the weekend to fix the site issues, so wasn't too surprised it took a bit more.
The Remington Society forum has been down at the same time, and is still down today! No idea when it will get fixed.
