Today was our annual club shoot. Everyone shoots 25 clay birds, high score wins.
Since I am the CLAYS CHAIRMAN I am the score keeper, match director, target fetcher, clean up crew etc.
I always squad myself for the last squad to shoot.
Today my 111 yr old Parker 20 got the nod. I went 22 straight and as soon as I pulled the trigger on #23 I knew I missed it. I crushed 24 & 25 for the win.
Maybe 40 odd years of clay target shooting has taken its toll on my skills?
Anyhow I suck at shooting and I'm disappointed with myself
It's rare that I do John, but when the club foots the bill for ammo you can bet I'm going to shoot it!
It's all about time behind the gun Bill. We were shooting a hybrid trap/sporting clays, 3 machines each were going away with slight angle variations and a wobble machine. That's my wheelhouse after tens of thousands of targets I've shot !
Oh and my homemade pheasant pepperoni was a hit as well!

Wowzers!!! Next will be Sixgun posting something!

There is a fine line between hobby & obsession! AND... I'm over it!!
No I ain't ready, but let's do it anyway!
I would like to be that bad. Being naturally left handed, taught to shoot by right handers, and forced to do things right handed, shotguns are a problem for me. I started shooting left handed with pistols, and never knew that I was able to do so well.
