OT, surgery went well
Claro developed a mammary mass. Poor girl has had more than her fair share of surgeries. I was concerned due to her age, but she took it like a trooper.
They removed 2lbs of mass.

Just got her home. Of course Parker and Sage were very excited to have her home.
She is still dopey from the anesthesia and pain meds.
This mass was quite fast growing and the next 2 weeks are going to be stressful waiting on the pathology results.
This poor girl has had more than her share of surgery, knee rebuild with a revision, pyometria, torn off nails , not to mention allergies- and constant battle.

Absolutely Bill.
Claro was from my first litter. I delivered her and she has been my 'right hand' for 12 ½ years. I was devastated when she wrecked her knee, knowing her hunting career was over. The vet assured me she could still hunt but when they had to remove the plate they put in to fix the knee they said arthritis is going to start and it did. We did get a couple more seasons but she would suffer with pain for a few days. That's the saddest part for me.
Now she can get back to laying around the house and eat bonbons.
