The current UFO revelations

Post by AJMD429 »

.
It is getting interesting, for sure...

You have to wonder if some are:

- other nations (but if they are that advanced, wouldn't they subdue us for their own goals...?
- our nation (I can see experimenting with new tech, and keeping it secret, so this impresses me as most likely)
- spoofs (other nations, or even ours, creating fake things on indirect imaging (radar vs human eye, etc. - but then what about the human-sighted ones??)
- truly other-worldly (evidently they aren't hostile or they'd have easily killed us off)
- time-travelling future 'us' (trying to help 'us' survive so they do - time travel contradicts known physics, but who knows what is really possible...?)

My dear ol Dad spent his adult life with air under his a&%. That was when he was the happiest. He had a pilots license before he could drive. He flew for Eastern Airlines for 27 years.
He saw lots of weird stuff. Once on a red eye , the whole flight crew and passengers witnessed a strange site. He never revealed exactly what they saw to us.
When the flight landed the crew filled out an FAA report. A few weeks later he got a certified letter from the FAA, more or less a supena to appear before a closed board of inquiry. The whole crew was there. They were told to NEVER reveal what they saw. He didn't.
Was it a real UFO? Our technology? A foreign country? I cant say.
However, I once saw something that I cant explain. It was one of those days a fishing trip was happening and I was up at 0300, walking the dogs, still winds, clear skies and no moon. I saw a 'thing' in the sky moving relatively slow. I have looked for and seen the ISS and it moved much faster than the ' thing' did. When I got back in the house I checked the Skyview app and there were no man made satellites in the area. It was going N to S.
So did I see a UFO? I dunno but I cant explain it.

It's one reason I like to have a fairly powerful firearm along. I have always wanted to shoot one down.

Over thirty years ago now, a friend and I were hog hunting and set up on the edge of a 40 acre field. It was a clear night with no clouds and a big full moon.

The moon was high and the field was lit up enough to see through the scope. No hogs in sight.

But in the sky, looking south and up at about a 45 degree angle, a very large cloud in the shape of a perfect circle was drifting toward the east. Perfectly round.
No way to tell how big but at least a quarter mile in diameter. Perfectly round and flat like a giant vanilla wafer!

We both saw it and were amazed and saying no one will ever believe this. And then right behind the round cloud was a perfect triangle-shaped cloud of the same size. Unbelievable.

To this day, I can't explain what this was. A perfect circle cloud and a perfect triangle cloud in a cloudless moonlit sky.

Maybe, something with a cloaking device?

In the mid 60s I saw two red lights moving slowly and independently at night over Birmingham UK until two fighters flying really low and fast approached and then the red lights came together and disappeared at very high speed the fighters then turned around and flew back from where they came from.
I can't say what or where the red lights were or where they came from.

Get real, you want a big heavy bullet to penetrate their shields. Minimum 45-70 525 gr. Or even better something like a 500 gr 460 Weatherby.

I'd go with light and fast, I remember a guy shooting a RR tie plate with a 50BMG, he was just pushing the plate deeper into the berm- i shot it with my 17 Remington and burned a hole right through... just sayin :D

True ... velocity wins over mass when it comes to penetrating metal. The .30-30 Accelerator's do a nice job.

You're talking steel. I'm talking electromagnetic shielding. Mass counts.

IF there are real ET Phone Home aliens I doubt we have anything that will be effective against superior tech they are bound to have. However I'm sure we'll give em hell!

55 grain @ 3400 fps ... Yes. I think they were .224"
I guided a friend's wife on a Javelina hunt and watched her nail a nice size boar at better than 70 yards using them. I worked really well. Instant lights out! She liked shooting the Accelerators and was good with them. Not much recoil.

I have a full box of 20 and a partial box. I used them for testing but have never hunted with them. They are interesting.

I've never seen anything that couldn't be explained.
That being said, I truly hope that if someone shoots an alien, Bigfoot, or some other some such, it's with a 94 Winchester in 30-30. If it's close, a Colt SAA would suffice.
It just seems fitting.

My grandfather told me a story that before he left for the war when he was out riding fences he saw 4 lights in the sky which moved together overhead, then all took off to the 4 points of the compass at high speed. This was in the 30's, well before jet flight or even the word UFO.

Never seen anything unexplainable in the sky. A lot of people who believe in UFO's and aliens scoff at the possibility of Sasquatch. Which is more within the realm of possibility?

Science is finding new species all the time. Most are deep water but land animals also. Who's to say what is still unknown about Sasquatch population. The native Americans had stories about all kinds of 'monsters' . My uncle ( 50% Washoe ) got a pup, named him Mushago (spelling?)which was Washoe for Monster. A few elders on the rez weren't too happy about that but the dog grew to very large proportions, he could pull my uncles 1960s Chevy pickup!
I digress, are we alone? Is Squatch real? Show me the bodies...

The more the government attempts to cover up sightings, the more I tend to believe the sightings are valid.

Years ago I did a lot of weekend prairie dog shooting, most frequently with a Remington model 722 in .222 mag. I used Hornady 50 gr SX (super explosive) bullets that were reputed to disintegrate at above about 3500 fps. I never tried them in my .22-250 but shot out of my Remington at 100 yards they would blow a clean 1/2" hole through a piece of 1/2" mild steel plate. Even with a very frangible bullet, velocity is the key to penetration of a solid object.

Frankly, is all the governments of the world made a simultaneous announcement that aliens were real and had been in contact it would be met with two reactions. Most would yawn and go back to their lives. And the crazy few would insist it's a conspiracy and aliens don't exist.

Again, that's steel. Aliens have electromagnetic shields and mass is what's needed to penetrate them.

I've heard of that movie, but never saw it.
I saw some show on the history Channel 20 years ago about Bigfoot. This old hick supposedly saw one run across the road in front of his truck. He stopped quick, got out, and fired a shot at it with his 30-30.
I thought, FINALLY! Someone is looking for actual proof. Not messing around with some out of focus picture or video. Not that I think it's real, but that's what it's gonna take. :D
May be tough to shoot down a UFO with a 30-30, but I've never been one to underestimate it. :D
