Re: American Western Arms
Good price , AWA Purchased ASM in Italy which made at time closest copy of Colt SAA. the AWA parts were sent to USA fir final work and genuine bone charcoal color case . Colt sued them for name PEACEKEEPER and ultimately they went out of buisness.

Re: American Western Arms
AWA handguns are in my opinion nicer than original Colt SAA handguns! I own two of them, and both have buttery smooth actions, and fit and finish is as good as it gets. I've had mine a long time and bought both of them used, but like new in the original boxes. I'd snatch that one up at the asking price, or at least try to get them to maybe knock some off. Both of mine are 4 3/4" barrels as I prefer shorter barrels over the 7.5"

Re: American Western Arms
I had my hands on one back in '17 or '18, it was a 357 4 3/4" for $350. This was just weeks after having bought a Uberti Matte finished one for the same price, so I had to pass it up. That was absolutely foolish. This gun was so well finished and polished that I thought, I would never fire it, because it looked like something, I would rather put on a display rack and set in my living room.
I really regret passing on that handgun.

Re: American Western Arms
I may be wrong on the manufacturer. The initial ad says American Arms Regulator but the details say Western Arms. I researched it and AWA didn't make a Regulator. They made a Peacekeeper and Longhorn. The American Arms .45 are stamped Uberti I believe. Oh well......
Re: American Western Arms
Yes that's a different animal all together. There are two 44 WCF AWA on Colt Forum. $768 per each. With holsters.

Re: American Western Arms
Good thing you checked as there's a huge price difference, and quality difference. That's no bargain not being an AWA.
