It turns out that the 'star witness' (his girlfriend) was actually NOT the person who was presented in the courtroom as that person.

Pretty amazing when you can just dredge up someone and claim they are someone they aren't, put them on the witness stand, and use their testimony to flip a verdict.

Between this case, the George Floyd one, and the Michael Brown one - ALL ones where there seems clearly a pattern of a criminal being shot, but the media turned them into martyrs - it seems like the boundary between truth and fiction gets shifted dramatically.

I believe such "crimes" will occur far more rarely now that USAID money is no longer available to sponsor protesters...
