New To Me Model 1895 38-72

At Cody I found a real nice 1895 in 38-72 with an octagon barrel. I already had a 38-72 with a round barrel, but I wanted the tapered octagon barrel. Accurate to minute of gopher…

Not sure I’ve ever seen a 1895 with an octagon barrel.

Oh ok thanks. I'd love its twin brother, no experiences with 38-72, but betting it make me a dandy WT cartridge! It is a beauty!
