Tom Selleck's collection. Up for auction I guess...???

I'd never seen how the Merwin & Hulbert's work... pretty fascinating mechanism.

A Merwin & Hulbert is my dream gun. Especially one with the skull-crusher on the bottom of the grip. I've always been fascinated with their mechanism. Way ahead of its time! But decent working models are $3K and up.

I saw that a few days ago and had heard of them, but not seen any of the collection. I was impressed and saddened at the same time.

I gotta agree. I knew he had some fantastic guns in his collection (heresay from acquaintances), and saddened that he feels the need to pass them along.

I saw that several days ago, but be honest i didn't know they were for sale, guess I didn't listen to first part! But quite a beautiful collection, from my favorite of only a few actors i admire! He's stood firm best i can tell his entire career for what we believe in! And all his Western Movies i truly enjoy, check the Grit Chamnel constantly for their showing! My favorite? Hmm, toss up between Monty Walsh & Crossfire Trail? Maybe I'll decide after I watch em about 10 more times!

Merwins are incredible revolvers and absolute wonders of craftsmanship. They have to be held and manipulated to be really appreciated.

I've long enjoyed Mr. Selleck's work and I think he is one of the few people in the entertainment industry that is really one of us.
