Measuring stuff in Space (galaxies, etc.)

I've been watching the 3Blue1Brown podcasts for some time, and find them intellectually stimulating (though sometimes too hard for my biology-not-math-brain to follow), and this one was interesting - on how we measure stuff in space.

Often it seems like 'everything depends on something else that eventually winds up depending on the first thing' - so how do you trust any of the measurements...

This series on 'Large Language Learning Models' is fascinating - it explains alot about 'Artificial Intelligence' that finally makes sense to me.

"Real" science sometimes boggles me... but Heinlein explained it all so eloquently.

Interesting how often the sci-fi genre gets things so precisely, years (or decades) in advance...!

The fact that so much sci-fi is 'dystopian' is rather disturbing in that context... :|
