Fellas does this ring a bell, I seem to recall it might have been a fella here or maybe over at thehighroad. Anyhow vid on YouTube was him passing some police tactical test for semi auto rifles using his lever action. It was a good video to watch. Have been trying to find it again but cannot.

Nice work. The lever gun is plenty capable, but reloading is murder.

With the .357 or .44 you can shove 2 at a time into the loading gate .. I used to do that with the .44-40. Takes a little practice to get used to it but it can be done.

Im going to try this out when I have time with the Rossi 92 in 44 mag.

I passed my sniper qualifications with a Winchester mdl 94 .30-30 Rifle. And once passed my quarterly pistol qualification with a Colt SAA in 5 Colt. Not impossible... but familiarity wit the firearm certainly makes the difference. I'm sure that if I'd had too I could pass the current patrol rifle qualification with the mdl 94 carbine in .30-30 that I carried in my cruiser during the '90s.
