"Not secure"

Post by Bill in Oregon »

I am seeing this notice in red up by the URL on my Mac screen. Anyone else see something like this? Is it significant?

I am not seeing it on a PC. Usually it means that you should not use a credit card on a site that is Not Secure. It could mean that it is not encrypted .. or that its certificate has run out ..

I have a green shield with a white checkmark. This is a new computer I am on, as of Sunday, now using Duck Duck Go browser rather than GoogleChrome. My computed crashed just about the time the site went-down. But I kept on searching on my I-pad, to no avail. Just tried again after one day lay-off from attempting to connect and surprise the site was up and running and I could log back on.

I was seeing all kinds of things from server not responding to unsecured etc.
I was checking at least 3 times a day from phone and tablet.
I finally emailed Paul Moreland and he provided me this,
www.isitdownrightnow.com
This allows you to see if any site is working or not.
I'm happy to have "our" tech guys on this issue and again many thanks to the behind the scenes that keep us gun bum's going!
