Rossi 480 if you already have a 454 casull rossi

Any point of the above fellas from a practical point of view( cough cough as if there is any such thing) but you get what I mean. Does the 480 in a Rossi offer anything the casull doesnt? Looks to be similar for hog thumping just a bigger PIA for bullet choices. Reason I ask is I know someone looking to part with a 480 R92, but not cheap, almost 2K!. He will get that online no probs so I cant talk him down. Im not much of a gun accumulator but own a few rossis, maybe I could be the rossi collector guy if I get it. Anyone else own both?

i have both. i like the 480 better but both will do any job i need them to do. the 454 may have a slight edge in power but doubt if any animal could tell the difference

Wishing now I hadn't passed up that stainless .480 for $550 a few years ago.

I want a 480 just for heck of it. I have a 454. Why didn't they make just it in 475 Linebaugh. You could shoot 480's in it also couldn't you?
