Wow! Saw very few with pods and we had a lot of "horse crpplers" on our lease south of Ozona.

Interesting, despite our drought I've been seeing more cactus blossoms than usual, and lots of pears on the prickly pears.

Pears on the prickly pear are my favorite targets.

Gorgeous. I wonder if those "tunas" make better jam than the prickly pear tunas I pick every fall. Do they turn magenta as the summer advances, Scott?

I don’t know. They go away by midsummer. But I have no idea what they might taste like.
