Cast Boolits

I am not a member of the Cast Boolit forum, but I visit there frequently. I know a few on this forum are posting members there. I have not been able to open it up
lately. Is it down or have they blocked me out someway? As far as I can get is a sign in page, for which I am not set up.
Any thoughts?

They have been getting hit with a lot of Spam Bots that have been taking up most of their bandwidth. Something on the order of 31,000 spam bots. Slowing things way down, even for members, worse for non-members

Good, may they forever be infested with 100,000 spam bots

Thanks for posting this statement, I thought it was just me. I have not been able to enter/visit the site since Saturday. I get this 'message' about using a bad VPN connection, but it my same connection device for about a year and a half and I was just on reading the night before (Friday). ???

Can't speak for Bryan, who posted a very great deal of information there over the years. I post there as Abert Rim (after the imposing fault block escarpment in Eastern Oregon, named in 1843 by John Charles Fremont after his commander, Col. John Abert, US Topographical Engineers), and while I have benefited wonderfully from many of the threads, I don't care for the site classified rules. If someone rats you out for posting the same item somewhere else, even if you forgot about it, you get a severe admonishment, actual demerits are assigned and you have to go sit in a corner like a six-year-old. To avoid the aggravation, I rarely post anything for sale or trade there lest I receive a spanking and be sent to bed without dinner.

Yeah, was there since 2009...Too many forums, too many different rules....yeap, Bill was right, the classifieds got me. First time ever trying to sell something in 13 some odd years and was treated like a little schoolboy. Needless to say I had no appetite for it. All I asked is that someone just simply say I made a boo boo rather than be treated like a little schoolboy in a third world country!

This is the only forum I hang out at. Some of my good friends are here and I haven’t seen the unpleasant behavior that I have seen elsewhere.

I only really hang out at three forums. Cast Boolits, Leverguns and Accurate Shooter. Been on CB for about 20 years, then Leverguns and finally A/S. Learned a lot from all three forums usually browse all three at least once a day.
