Thanks guys.
Nancy passed last night just before midnight.
I tried to sleep next to her for a couple hours, but couldn’t do it. So I got up poured myself a drink and went and sat back on the bed. Shot the pelosi with her. Then had another. Then slept till about eight.
Then I got up and I kind of duplicated our old Sunday morning routine. I made coffee and breakfast for both of us set a place setting for Nance. Then I took a shower and shaved. And then I took a couple of hours to wash Nancy and primp. Starting with her feet. Lathered her up with her favorite lotions and wrapped her snugly in a white cotton sheet.
It was a good day.

From the post I can tell you were BLESSED to have had many years of love together. That is precious. All things do come to an end, sadly, but it sounds like you closed that chapter of your lives with grace and tenderness. Sounds therefore like SHE was a lucky woman as well. God bless you both as you endure the transition to the next phase.
