Been having problems logging in since yesterday afternoon. Takes several tries and often "timed out.' Also happens when I click on a thread read it, then try open another thread. Had to load this thread 2 or 3+ times.
The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

Yeah, it's been stable for a bit but has begun to wobble again over the last could of days.
... I love poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.

Yeah I thought it was fixed but slow again today.

Exactly the same as you said Ray.
I dunno what it the cause but it sure is annoying.
I tried to reply to a post yesterday and when I hit submit the screen went white and nothing for about 4 hours...

I wish I understood this server business. It is frustrating, and a large part of the frustration is a result of my taking digital communities that are important to me -- such as this one -- for granted.
Have I told you all how much I appreciate you lately? I really do. And I sure appreciate Andy keeping the lights on here.

Yesterday I was locked out again, and logged out also, even though I never logout. Tried logging in, but site didn't work. Back to normal today after logging back in again.

One possible cause is that the internet service provider or host has oversold their service. Like power companies they will do "rolling blackouts". Of course they will never admit to it.

Still having problems, often just a blank screen and when it does connect I'm logged out.
About as reliable as a $3 dollar flintlock with damp powder..... :?

For the last 3 hours several times I unsuccessfully tried to log on. Often received this message: "code 503 --maintenance down time or capacity problems."

Or the logon would just stop or "freeze up" without sending any reason as to why. Latest response was “server unavailable.”

I finally was able to log on and reply to PM about a classified ad.
