We just returned from St. Louis yesterday where we've been since Sunday. My granddaughter had to have her 6th hip surgery at Shriners hospital. Like before, she received excellent care and the staff there went above and beyond to make sure she was as comfortable as possible. I can't say enough about them.
Household 6 and I rotated shifts with her so she always had one of us there. We stayed at Haven House, and the staff there were also incredibly helpful and understanding.
We've had more than our fill of the big city for a good long while. We were happy to get back to our rural homestead. I don't know how anybody lives in that mess.

Sounds like you have a good, tight family, and the Shriners folks are among the best. Glad you are back home and out of that urban mess!

Glad to hear they treated you well, Shriners hospital is a great thing for kids.
My old shooting coach has set aside a good majority of his estate to go to Shriners.
