I first went there in 1990 for a 4 day cowboy shoot... then back later in the year for the NRA BPCRS Nationals for a few years. Always a great place to visit & shoot... I've stayed in competitor housing, hauled my travel trailer and tent camped in the "primitive" area. All have their perks! But my wall tent @ 16' by 20' is a bit much for me to erect on my own any more!

Been years since I stopped by. Need to fix that. Do they still shoot BPCRS there, or did that all shift to the Ben Avery Range outside Phoenix?

Headed up there to take another whack at the buffalo with the Sharps and black powder. About 4.5 hours Noryh of me, plan on arriving the 7th of June and heading home the 9th. It is one of the happiest places on earth for me. Just wish I had been smart enough to reserve a Founders cabin in February, live those views.
