Gene Winfield

For those of us who are car guys, the great Gene Winfield passed yesterday. Gene was 97 years old, and one of the most highly regarded custom car builders in the world. The last couple years Gene had health issues, and his caregiver took advantage of Gene, and cut off all contact with anyone in an attempt to hide her abuse, and theft. Last year some friends got her taken away, and Gene was better. He'd been battling cancer and lost the battle finally.

Elder abuse should be an automatic death sentence.
