Welcome from another Maineiac. I've got a Winchester 71, but have only used it for moose. They are a beautiful rifle, just too big for me to hump around the woods.

Welcome, and look forward hearing & seeing anything Mod 71 or 348W, would love have one, but in all honesty it would never fulfill my purposes like a Mod 64-94, but still IMO, the most interesting and classic rifle-cartridge story in American gunmaking history!

Welcome to the campfire, I saw your handle 348win amongst the usual hoard of spammers and opened your account... I have said before if anyone wants to join Leverguns.com it helps if you go by a name that sounds gun friendly, I regularly have to Zap about 30+! spammers every time I log on..

Another Mainer saying welcome! I'm just west of MDI.The 348 and 71 are a marvelous combination. I'm down to one Browning carbine but its not going anywhere.
