Considering selling a Holy Grail Savage 1899
Good morning, All! I'm new to the site and apologize if this is posted in the wrong place. I have a very early 1899 38-55 TD, serial number 72.8xx. From research it was made in Nov- Dec 1906. It is all original and has a 26" round barrel, perch belly stock. I'm considering selling it and I have several other 99's I may consider selling as well. I'll try to attach a pic, but it's not the best angle. Curious what folks here think it's worth. The top rifle is the 38-55. The middle rifle is a 1910 action and chambered in 32 Win Spl. The curly maple stocks were made by my grandfather. THE MIDDLE ONE IS NOT GOING TO BE SOLD. The bottom rifle is a 1915 H in 22 Hi-Power TD. If you are interested in buying you are welcome to DM me.

Dont know what its worth but it sure is pretty. I did not know they made them in 38-55. I have always wanted one of the Savage 1899s but never wanted to fool with the most commonly seen 300. If I ever saw one locally in 38-55 or 30-30 I would definitely have my interest peeked.

.
I always thought one in 35 Remington would be interesting, as well.
But I have no clue as to value; someone here will no doubt have some good answers though - just wait a day or two.
