Converting Lever Guns To Cars

Post by Shrapnel »

Going through my safes a few months ago, I realized I have a bunch of cool old stuff I haven’t done anything with in years. So I selected a few guns and put them up for sale.

Friday I went to Utah and picked up a nice Corvette…

+1 and Amen to that! I'd need 5 safes of my stuff to fund that one...

That is a beautiful car!!
A friend of mine in Wyoming and his brother bought one each in Utah. They actually got to go to a training class on a race course to learn to drive it as intended.
Must be nice!
If I sold all my guns, I might be able to fill the tank on that!!

If I had a car like that, I'd be trading the other way! Congratulations!

I was Blessed to Have a Widow move in next door who lived there for ten years. Best neighbor ever. She had two Sons that were well off and We saw a constant stream of hot rods, Indian Chief motorcycles, Dodge Chargers.. you name it.. on and on. She would shake Her Head and Smile......The Boys and their Toys. .

Did the same thing on a smaller scale when I bought and built my '37 British Austin back in 2010. Sold off some of my Marlin leverguns to fund the build as I went along.
