Christmas present for my daughter.

Post by Paladin »

On my way across the lower 48, I meet my daughter for a night near Texarkana. I gave her a couple of her Christmas presents as shipping is a PAIN. I had given her one of the WV State Police 686s a few years ago and my retirement S&W 4006 and thought she needed this one to go with them. I had a suppressor on the Rossi and put a linear comp on it to protect the threads and soften the .357 noise. I changed the color of the forearm to match the comp to make her happy.

It is great to see other caring fathers. Love the 686.

.
As I get older I've made a list of my firearms and 'who gets what'. It is challenging to be both fair (they each get stuff) and sensible (if I have four 44 Mag revolvers, giving each kid one 'makes sense' but two of them are way too petite to ever enjoy shooting those, so perhaps they should get more of the 22's and the more robust kids more of the others).

Might serve some purpose to ask them what, if anything, they want.
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Nifty. I went to a S&W pistol armorer school hosted at the West Virginia State Police Academy back in the late 90s. I still have my then issued 5906 that my daughter will eventually get. I bought it when we traded them for M&P40s when those came out.
