I picked up a Ruger LC this morning and the SDS 10mm about a month ago.
Just happened to bring home a steel 55gal. drum that needed to be ventilated for use as a new burn barrel.
The 180 gr. FMJ FP 10mms zipped right through both sides of the barrel and both sides of the old shed that still needs to be torn down.
The barrel is black, so the pictures of the groups were too hard to see in the pictures but both grouped quite well and functioned flawlessly.
There are those few out there that see fit to dog the Turkish 1911s, but this one makes four that I own and haven't had a failure of any kind.
The 10mm LC is heavier than my 5.7x28 LC but it would have to be. It uses Glock style magazines and the one that came with it was made by SGM. Very stiff and hard to load. Just ordered a few ETS mags that I've become a big fan of. They are inexpensive and far easier to load.

Throwing a couple of progress pictures of the old farmhouse too.

Nice! im a fan of the lc carbine + the 1911. great combo.
i'm curious about the antenna, looks like it can reach out there . . .
and the house is Beeutiful
The TV antenna is badly bent and is supposed to come down before the work is done. It's hard to tell in the pictures.
I'm planning on keeping the tower though. My first wife's dad was big into Ham Radio and kind of planted that seed years ago. So if I ever find the time, I may got into it a bit thinking a tower that tall would be quite useful.
