Re: Cimmarron MP415 Model P .45 Colt SAA Failure
I have no idea if this was an overcharge or not, but it sure would seem to be the most likely culprit. Over 60 years ago , a local gunsmith was teaching my father and I about reloading. He stressed to us that we should NEVER shoot anyone else's reloads or reload for anyone else. I have strictly adhe...

Thanks for posting that, Nath, a very good lesson for all of us . I had a similar experience some years ago, was up elk hunting and managed to slip and fall, driving the muzzle of my rifle into some mud. That ended it for me for the day, had to hike back to the truck and go back to camp. From that d...

Our local online newspaper published this today, the places mentioned are my stomping grounds, Lander WY is my long-time home. So, at that range, how do you get appointed a "safety officer" :?: If you cant tell the difference between a training dummy and a real firearm, maybe you shouldn't even be on the range at all. Most training dummies get painted orange or some other bright color to remove all doubt.

Yesterday my friend and I left town about 0700 and drove about 90 minutes out to an area in Southwest Wyoming where we spent the next 3 hours shooting prairie dogs and admiring the scenery. Perfect day, temps in the 70's and lower 80's, almost no wind. I brought my CZ 527 .22 Hornet and 70 rounds of...
