Re: Mowing the old fasion way.

In my early 20s I worked on golf courses for a few years. Had a lot of seat time running Toro Greens Master triplex and 7 and 9 gang real mowers. The 9 gang mowers would make a cut 22 feet wide if I remember right.

Thanks Tango....I was told that nothing cuts as perfect as a reel mower and that's why golf course maintenance people like them.----5 If you look at the ends of grass blades cut with a rotary mower they are jagged and torn looking. Cut with a reel mower they look sheared . Much less stress on the g...

I like teaching women how to shoot( Actually like women in general). They tend to listen better than guys do. I start them off with a 22, then once they have the basics down let them try centerfire with everything in my possession from 380s up to magnum revolvers. Believe it or not most really liked...

215 grain cast over Unique has done fine for me on hogs up to 250 pounds out of 6 inch model 57 and Blackhawk. Have broken both shoulders and bullet passed through on 200 pound boar. Out of 1894 FG 210 grain XTPs shoot better and have worked well on several GA deer shot with them. Loaded over 296.
