Wow time flies. My kids similar ages and they used to be toddling around the house and yard, making messes, catching snakes, and helping me lose my tools. Now they being over grandkids to do those things.
Good news is one now lives in the house next door.

I think it’s a heck of a good idea for a cartridge that gives some serious big bore power without heavy recoil. It seems like with today's steels handling higher pressure and today's more modern powders, we don't really need long cartridges to get big fat bullets moving at a pretty reasonable pace....
