I know you used to live in Oregon, so you pretty much know exactly what goes on here, Portland liberals dominate our entire state,

I have a nice Winchester 356, shot a bear in BC with it, have a scope as you do.
Very accurate, one shot 150 yards, one dead bear. You will like the results, it
will kill just about anything you shoot with it.

The second amendment wasn't about hunting, it was about defending ourselves from evil governments, "in those days England".
Makes sense to me to have an AR-15. In Switzerland every household is required to have a shooting rifle.

I just checked the Barnes manual and they list a 250 Gr. Barnes Original in 348, I may take a look at
that as well. It seems like there are a few more options these days for 348 than there were 25 years
ago. I'm surprised Hornady doesn't have anything heavier than 200 Gr. listed.
