The extractor use to be a weak point on the early 66s in 22lr .I had one of the early ones and the extractor wasn’t broke but wore enough it couldn’t get the case out .I have read it was common on them at one time

They still make the 66 in 22lr in rifles and carbines.My 66 carbine is current manufacture and differs from the older version as the mag tube doesn t have the slot in it to load the shells ,you have to remove the tube all together to load the shells down the tube.As far as I know it the Uberti 73 ri...

The 76 was the last of the real winchesters everything after that was all John Browning.The 76 filled a gap for a need of a more powerful lever gun albeit for a short time.The 76 also served the North West Mounted Police for 32 years ,It s due it’s place in history

There is probably a bit of red tape that the store doesn t want to bother with.With the current Clown prince running our country they are making everything harder to do concerning firearms.Hopefully he and his band of Keystone cops will be gone come next election

I have one of the Winchester 100 anniversary 95 carbines great little gun.I wish they would do a Canadian carbine version chambered for 303 brit,they were really popular here in a Canada years ago but most version you find are normally well worn

Only problem I had with recoil in 44mag was shooting both a Ruger no 3 and a browning 92 was my knuckles use to get rapped by the lever on both guns.Not bad for hunting but for target shooting it was an annoyance

I love the military 22 trainers as well.I have this ww1 trainer,mine still has the bolt cover which is rare for these trainers.It is an accurate fun gun to shoot

One of the down sides to the Ferguson rifle is that they are prone to cracking the stock at the breech area do to the amount of wood removed for the breech.This was more of a concern for a military rifle as they were subject to rough handing.A lot of the surviving originals show cracks in this area....
