Yeah, sorry, we don't have much freezing problems down here. Excuse me now while I go find my brain.

Re: OT - got the John Deere - weight/ballast question?

You may also consider putting some water in the tires for counter weight purposes and also helps with traction. Every tractor we had on the farm growing up, we always aired down all the tires and filled them up with water then used air to inflate to pressure. With out this the tires would spin usele...

Re: finally something about Maj. Winters

Its about time. I have still not seen or heard anything on my local news. I suppose if Lindsay Lohan went to rehab again we would know it. We lose a true hero such as Maj. Winters and he slips off silently. On a side note......along the interstate the Budweiser plant has been flying its flag at hal...

Re: OT: German Shephard

The problem I have is that I have heard alot of pure bred German Shepherds have serious hip problems when they are young. Is this true?? Anybody know anything about the dog's?? Should I buy a purebred?? Or ...

Re: First post here... UPDATE Ruger SA

Think that's bad try a hot loaded .44 Magnum. :)   One thing to remember when shooting a SA-like firearm... is that it was designed to roll up in your hand, this places the hammer at an easier position to pull it back for the followup shot. Not sayin' you did, but just sayin', in ca...

Re: First post here... UPDATE Ruger SA

Range Report: put 200 rounds 38sp. and 6 .357 GS's to finish it off at lunch. I must say I am impressed with it's accuracy. If I can pick up some more ammo I will visit the range again before weeks end. I think I will be searching for a mate for it soon. I will add the 357's were a bit punishing on ...

Re: First post here

Well a Ruger it is! 357. 5-1/2" blued vaquero. I was not impressed with the selections this weekend. Had many, many old levers and spent time fondling them. 2 months ago the selection on SA's were alot better. I need to start going to the ones out of town. Won't be able to get any pictures unti...
