Mainehunter, I too am a Maine hunter and was fortunate enough to be gifted the very same rifle xmas of '05.
Somewhere between then and now we've done some serious bonding and I wouldn't give it up and could get by just fine if it was my only one.

So what would someone be looking at to take an old 92 from 32-20 to .357 mag?
I have one that's been worked on a lot through the years by the looks of it and it might be a candidate for such a project. If not the old girl is pretty much a parts piece.
Would much rather see it shoot again.
