Re: New acquisitions but not mine !

I had found a set of MX barrels in 28ga, they were for a 12ga frame. I was ready to buy them until I saw the price tag!!!! $5000.00 was way too rich for my blood. So I bought a set of Briley sub gauge tubes.

I keep coming back to this, certainly gets the grey matter going. One thing keeps coming up in my head, 357 Maximum. I'm not overly familiar with it, certainly guns chambered for it are scarce but it scratches an itch for the 35 guys. I suppose a 180 or 200 gr 358 rifle bullet loaded in it would get...

2x to 8x is indeed a lot of magnification for a long eye relief scope. You'll have to play with it to find a sweet spot.
Only scoped short gun I have is a Mk2 with a 10" bbl, only a 2x though.

Re: Thinking about a new press

The Lee turret is cast steel/iron or aluminum? Aluminum is why I only use my Lee C press for short cases and crimping.
On an aluminum press the outside supports are the only way to not tweak the turret style, the steel/ iron has the strength to use a center mounting system.
