Height of front sight with Marbles Bullseye
I have a Rossi 92 with 16" barrel in 45LC. I am thinking of getting a Marbles Bullseye to replace the rear sight and a fiber optic to replace the front. My queston is to anyone who has this combo what height fiber optic front sight did you use?
Thanks!
Thanks!

A-MAX vs. Leverevolution bullets in Levergun
Just wondering if the Hornady A-Max bullets with the polymer tips can used in place of the leverevolution bullets in a 30-30 levergun? I would think that the polymer tip on the a-max would work the same as the one on the Leverev. and be safe to use in a tube mag. Is this right?

Re: Slinging up a Marlin 336
Would attaching a sling point to the wood of the forend help? Or not since it is attached to the barrel as well?

Slinging up a Marlin 336
I want to install a GI 1 1/4 web sling on my Marlin 336. My concern is that when you are properly slung up there is a lot of tension on the front sling point. On the Marlin the front sling swival is of course on the barrel band. Could the tension on the barrel band effect accuracy??

Re: A Question on Reloading a 30-30 with Lead Bullets
Well the 135 gr flat points looked interesting enough that I ordered some. Now I just need a good recipe for Unique, Herco, or 3031 since those are the only powders I have right now.

A Question on Reloading a 30-30 with Lead Bullets
I am fairly new to reloading and have a question. I am looking at a lead 110 gr RN bullet for the 30 carbine and wondering if that would be a good plinking/groundhog round for a 30-30? Would the round nose be blunt enough to load in th Marlins tube mag safely? Thanks

Re: .357 or .45 LC Marlin???
I think i am going to go with the 357, although they are pretty scarce in my parts. I can find 30-30s all day long at the gun shows but 357 Marlins are mighty scarce.

Re: .357 or .45 LC Marlin???
Thanks for all the input. Like most of you I think I am leaning towards the .357 although the one thing in favor of the 45lc is it gives me an excuse to keep the Ruger Vaquero around. I really dont need it and its one more caliber I have to buy, but it is fun :D But for practicality purposes I shoul...

.357 or .45 LC Marlin???
Hello all I am new here and have a question for you all. I have been kicking around the idea of getting a rifle for my wife for plinking, home defense, etc... With our current market of scarce, expensive ammo I am trying to keep the number of different calibers I have to buy to a minimum. With that ...
