I was just checking the Hodgdon's manual and they talk about a Marlin 62, not familar with this rifle. The Speer 75 grain FN bullet get's 2300fps out of a 24" barrel. That's impressive.... With my 357 Model 92 EMF Hartford I'm always trying to stuff the Keith bullet, and 357 Mag brass down the ...

256 Winchester

I have a Ruger Hawkeye and forming dies to covert 357 Mag cases into 256 Winchester. Has anyone rebarreled a levergun to 256 Winchester? The 357 Mag Model 92 I have sometimes has a hard time feeding the round depending on bullet type. I think a 256 Winchester would be interesting. Any thoughts on th...

I really like old Winchesters. The Model 92 in 25-20 I have shoots like a laser gun out to 100 yards in the local silhouettes matches. The old rifle was made in 1917 and when I handle her I feel like a homesteader in Owyhee County protecting the chickens from coyotes. But this is 2008 and today Marl...

Look at your rifle and if it's drilled & tapped for a tang sight it will have two screw holes. One bigger screw attaches the rifles action to the stock and the smaller screw just plugges the hole until you add the tang sight. When you recieve your Marbles Tang sight it will include the hardware ...

Bob I believe the Winchester Centennial was already drilled & tapped for the Marble Peep Tang sight. The rifle isn't cheap in price even for the grade 1. I'm happy with the way the Centennial feels and shoots, the wood is gorgeous. My opinion of the safety is still out...the rifle is @ the local...

Bullet Bob I have a Marble's Peep Tang sight on the rear, replaced the original rear sight w/ a marbles barrel blank. The front sight is a red fiber optic sight and I believe it is also the Marbles brand. Good sight picture on the black silhouettes. I tried the Buffalo Bill rifle but the heavy 26&qu...

Seems funny the safety would fall out, heck the rifle isn't abused. The sticky articles deal w/ covering the hole, and removing the safety. I tried putting the crossbolt spring & plunger back together but something is missing.....bearing? I'll probably fix the crossbolt safety but I'm concerned ...

Winchester Centennial

I have a Winchester Centennial Limited Edition 30 W.C.F. that I use to shoot Leveraction Silhouette. Great rifle thanks to a couple of Paco's pet loads. The problem I have is that the cross bolt safety fell out yesterday while shooting....I've read the sticky on removing the safety. The parts I have...
