Re: Swedish CG63
Be careful when buying a CG63. Many of them have been range rifles, and have been rebarreled twice, thrice or more. Chamber length was adjusted by turning the barrel harder into the reciever. If the gun seems to have been much used, look for another, as there have been accidents with blow up action...

Re: Win 94 with marble's rear sight
Actually, it was not available for the early 1894s because the Marbles 60 series was not yet made when your gun was made. The sight is the Marble's 64 semi-buckhorn and it was available for the later Winchester carbines, all calibers; the Savage 99 .22 HP, 250-3000, and 300 Rifles; and all .22 cali...

I would like to know if a Winchester 94 with a half round half octagonal 26" barrel, 32 special made in 1905 is considered original if the gun has a marble's rear sight? Here are a photo of the gun and the sight (the rifle is not mine). http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/3508/winhalfround.jpg U...

I checked my 94 book and that is not a a factory sight for a M94 Winchester. It is not a C/C Winchester sight as I have one of those in the drawer in front of me. It looks like the stamped sheet metal sights they put on factory Marlins for years. It's easy enough to change to a good Winchester sight. Decent proper period Winchester sights, or good quality period aftermarket sights, as could have been factory installed on your gun, aren't too hard to come by....
