If you drink, take a cab

I would like to share a personal experience with the folks here about drinking and driving. As I'm sure you know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the authorities on our way home from an occasional social session over the years. Well, last weekend, I was out for an evening with fr...

New Movie

Just saw an ad on TV for "Red Dawn". This is a remake of the 1984 movie. In theaters near you Nov. 21. I guess I won't know if it's any good until someone, or me, sees it and reports back, but I'm looking forward to it.

Speaking of gen units, are they difficult or expensive to convert to burn natural gas. For those with NG, it would be much easier than messing with a bunch of tanks/drums. I'm not sure about the cost, but it couldn't be more expensive than gasoline.

Some have neglected to calculate the differences in farming from then until now. Farmers are intent on sterilizing fence rows which decreases small game habitat, particularly upland game. Do you suppose this might have something to do with the decrease in game?

The 120mm gun on the M1A1 fires projectiles in the 3,700fps up to about 5,500fps range, which is way above anything that most of us shoot. Most of the projectiles are finned. I suppose these 2 elements add to the accuracy of the gun. Crosswinds may wreak havoc on it's accuracy at great distances.
