Have to admit, I've never tried dove shooting with a 410, but it sounds like a boat load of fun in a good dove field. I have a hard enough time hitting them with a 12 ga though. :D

Scott, that was my backup plan for this project if the barrels were not regulated well enough to be useful with slugs. The barrels would have gone another 4" shorter, down to 20" and just a bead installed.

On a stripped bolt should not close with one finger pressure. Sounds like your apply force to get it to close which can ruin headspace gauge .Be careful. Perhaps I didn't word that correctly.
