He brought it over here a couple weeks ago and I told him I'd look at it! Which I really hadn't done yet.

Marlin 336 loading gate mal-function.

I have my uncle's 336 and the loading gate is sprung I guess or the screw holding it is loose or something. I've never owned one of these or worked on them. The gate is staying in and it of course inhibits cycling of the action. How hard a job is it to get inside of this thing to fix it? Or can it b...

Well Thanks Fellows! I figured that may be the major difference.

Now my goofy mind is racing with another question.

Has anybody tried to modify the 100 mag to remove the bolt stop feature? I have a good friend who is a pretty good gunsmith do you think this is doable?

I am not sure but I know for the rem 760 pump and 740 auto, the auto clip has a hold open feature for the bolt of the semi auto. Winchester Model 88

I know there is some difference in the magazines of the Model 88 and the Model 100. I was just wondering what the difference is anyone know exactly what the difference is?

Thanks I finaly got my desk top back up and running!

Now does anyone know where's the best place to get a couple of hole filler screws for those two holes in my receiver.

Redfield Apperture Sight

I have a Redfield app. sight that bolts on the side of the receiver it was on my Marlin 39 A. Just wondering what those things are worth? I put a scope on her and was thinking of selling it!
