1 - when a bunch of guys like us got together in the local gun shop we just used to talk about nothing but guns?

2 - in the last 15 years or so, when we get together we talk about keeping those few rights we have left?!?

700-X ("HI-SKOR 700-X") is made by IMR.

It's primarily a shotgun powder.

I've used it for a long time for CAS shotgun loads.

Thank goodness we don't have to make those hard choices, at this time. But there was a time in my life, when all I had was a .22 singleshot and a BB gun and I thought I was pretty well armed, of course at that time I was allowed to also use my dad's singlebarrel 12ga, and his milsurp Swedish Carbin...

For hunting, either one is great. But for defense, just carry some Bear Spray. bogie Obviously you haven't seen the post about bear scat. I'll paraphrase: "Black bear scat has twigs in it and smells like nuts and berries. Griz scat has little bells in it and smells like pepper spray." :D

I've been using 5.5 grains of Unique with a .358, 146 grain, LRNFP bullet for the Lovely and Talented Miss Randi's CAS guns for years. It's accurate in both of her revolvers and her leverguns.

5.5 grains of Unique is somewhere in the ".38+P" arena.

It works for us.
