its chambered in 44 mag,Sorry

Okay, I feel a little odd asking this question but, Can i only shoot 44 mag rds outta my rossi puma?
I keep seeing people say they are shooting 44 specials is this a lighter load or what.

Is this an easy and recommended upgrade? I really only hunt with this gun maybe 50-100 rds a year. If so can someone walk me through it.

Steve, whats ur price to mount a peep sight? something like the Williams FP. Its a Rossi 44 mag 16" barrel. The receiver will need to be drilled and tapped correct?

BSquare scope mount for rossi m92 44 mag who has one of these and could i see pics? does this mount sit off the side of the receiver or doe the scope LINE UP down the center of the receiver?
