Re: A really BIG 'AK'...
Interesting project all right -- and the nature of that barrel flex surprised me. Would love to see it set up for three-round burst mode. I wonder how many thousands of dollars went into this endeavor. I've been fortunate in that friends have let me put a few rounds through their Barretts and McMill...

Doc, when I lived in the small town of Talent in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon, an innovative engineer came up with an electric street bike called the Brammo, and they went into production in an abandoned Walmart. These were bigger bikes than the E Ride, and it was always a surprise to hear on...

Will, one nice feature of the Lee is that you can turn the indexing on and off so that it will stay on the same station no matter how many times you raise and lower the ram -- or advance to the next die.

Will, I am surprised to hear about poor reviews. The one I had indexed like a bank vault and seemed just as solid -- a lot nicer than the Lyman turret press I had prior. I agree with Doc that for the money the Lee is hard to beat. But the Redding felt to me like it would be in use a century from now.
