I have a 1957 336, 30-30 sporting carbine that I have been saving to send to Jesse Ocumbaugh in Oregon, to have him chamber and rebore to 38-55. Jesse's guns have a .375 bore, not a .380 bore like most 38-55s. This causes reloading headaches. You can shoot either .375 Win or 38-55, jacketed or cast ...

OT: Which Scope Rings
I recently ordered a 6.5" Taurus Raging Bull .45 Colt from Zanders after reserving one over the phone. Making a long story short, I had to settle for the same gun in .454 Casull as they were confused about their remaining stock of .45's apparently. My plans are for a steady diet of reloads unde...

Thanks to Gregg! I went over to Harbor Freight yesteday and bought two pairs of the $9.95 (Sale Price, reg. $19.95) Western Safety electronic muffs. I am impressed to say the least. I tried out both pairs at an indoor range with a 357 revolver, they performed beautiful. They seem to be equal to my o...

OT: Taurus Revolver Strength
Just wondering if the Taurus Raging Bull in 45LC is as strong as the Ruger Blackhawk in 45LC? In other words, will the Taurus handle +P reloads?
I know I can solve this by buying another Taurus in 454 Casull but don't want to do that if not necessary.
