Guys...It's been a while since I've posted, lifes been busy with work, kids, projects, etc... but I wanted to share pics of my son's first deer. I am going to go for it...I have been applying for NH, and Vermont for the last few years, maybe I'll have better luck with Maine. For me, it would have to be my .38-55. My handloads with 255 grain Barnes Originals perform great...and the Buffalo Bores are awesome. I have been doing penetration test...

Last year while deer hunting in the Adirondacks my buddy and his son saw a bull moose and a cow. We were just North of Nobleboro. I have seen sign almost every year but this is the first time that anyone in my group actually saw one in the flesh....awesome!

I was in Charlotte-Douglass airport on Friday and I could not get on the Levergun's Website. A messege came up saying that it was blocked because of being a forbidden catagory " Weapons " I know that some of you guys have had this happen to you but this is the first time I have experienced...

Ted, I have family in Canton and St.Patrick MO in the Northeast pat of the state. I would love to get out there sometime to hunt deer. I might come out this spring to the Black Widow Bows instinctive shooting clinic which is in May....I can't recall what part of the state thats in. Anyway...thanks. ...

I now own two .38-55's, my Win 94...and most recently a H&R Single Shot. I sought advice on loads and ended up using 32grs of RL7 behind a 255gr Barnes Original. On deer sized game including bear I just point and shoot out to 150 yards....it shoots nice and flat and has great penetration. I am v...

OT- Wish me luck

Hey guys,

It looks like I'm going to be taking it easy for a while. I fell off a ladder from 16' high and broke my C-7, and T-4 vertebrae and got cut up pretty bad. I guess I'll have lot's of time to clean my guns.

Wish me luck on a speady recovery.
