Re: Have prices gone up that much?
Prices are much less out here in the Pacific NW. You want to see high prices? Check some of these out. http://www.merzantiques.com/ Those prices do seem high, but the value will hold, at least. Compare with buying a car for a similar amount. The car will be worthless junk in ten years! (or less) :s...

I prefer the full length magazine, mostly because it just looks right to me. The 3/4 looks OK, but I really don't like a button magazine, it just looks wrong to me. All just personal preference, though, they're all good!

Claybob86, what a great cartoon, from the 1950's no less. Where did you come up with that, if you dont mind me asking? :D It's from a book my dad got from his dad called "Cowboys Out Our Way" by J. R. Williams. If you ever stumble across a copy, the price, whatever it might be, is not too...

I like 'em both, but my nod would go to "B" for the purpose you're after, for the reason mentioned by Kirk, also, as small as a signature picture will be, the less small detail, the better, IMHO.

This my friend Bill H. who is an avid Pennsylvania deer hunter. His carbine is an early 1950's era 32 Special. Bill has clobbered many white tails and black bears with this Winchester. Bill will tell anyone that will listen that his 32 hits harder than any 30-30. Yet he has never owned or hunted wi...

Sorry Gryphon, but the Mossy is basically a Win 94 with a bridge over the rear which means that the .454 and .460 are out. The 1894 locking block is at the rear of the action and cannot handle those pressures. USRA announced the .454 once but could never produce it. Is it not possible that the rear...
