Re: Looking for Cushioned Socks That Stay Up with Western Boots
I got my first pair of "western" boots when I was about 9 or 10. That has been my main footwear all of my life, I am about a month from 80 and I have not worn anything but a couple pair of Redwing Irish Setters. I buy my socks at Wallmart . I buy heavy work socks and don't have any trouble...

Did you add a quart of oil every 50 or 60 miles? How many flats did you fix on the trip? When we still traveled we made the trip to Yuma, AZ. several times in my 1977 Ford truck with just buying gas. Things have changed a lot since I got my drivers license in 1954.

Piller, we raised 3 daughters and 1 son then raised 2 grandsons. We finally had to tell one daughter that we love you because you are our daughter, but we HATE YOUR WAYS. After a few years she came back like our daughter was. Raising kids just can be a real heart ache.

Looks real good to me. I raised our first grandson with a fly rod in his hands. As he got older he wanted to tie some flies so we started picking up a few supplies. Got a tying vice from some outfit. He decided he needed a table and wanted me to build it. got a set of plans and built it. I thought h...
